MORE INFORMATION:
Our Sunday morning English-language worship starts at 10:30 a.m.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by someone who can answer any questions you might have. You'll have an opportunity to get some coffee, if you like, and find a seat of your choosing.
Make sure to pick up your Church Notes on the way in, so you can check out what's going on that Sunday, things scheduled for the week ahead, and some sermon notes if you're a note-taker or doodling type.
Our worship service usually includes the following:
A mix of worship styles and music
Scripture readings
Prayer
A short, low-key greeting time (you won't be put on the spot — we promise)
Announcements
A message that's grounded in Scripture with practical applications
Communion, shared together roughly every other week
Worried about being singled out? Don't be. We do a brief greeting time, but no one is going to hand you a microphone or ask you to stand and introduce yourself. Come, sit, breathe, and enjoy.
Come as you are. Really. Suits, jeans, shorts, dresses — you'll see it all, and nobody's going to blink. We take Colossians 3:12 seriously: "clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
Want more out of your Sunday? Join us at 9:00 a.m. a time of prayer followed by discipleship classes at 9:30 a.m. You are free join either of these times.
Can't make it in person? Catch the livestream at fmnaz.org or search @5milenazarene on YouTube. Most weeks, the full service and a sermon-only version are posted by Monday.
Find us at 2701 S Five Mile Rd, Boise. Parking's plentiful — just pull in and get as close as you can. Come through the front door; you can't miss it.
Looking for our African service? Come at 4:00 p.m. for a Swahili-language worship service. Every 6-8 weeks, we bring both congregations together for one combined multilingual service at 10:30 a.m. — a great time of multilingual and multicultural worship!
We'd love to see you this Sunday.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT FIVE MILE
Five Mile is part of the global Church of the Nazarene. We're not a stand-alone congregation making it up as we go — we're connected to a worldwide family of churches that share the same core beliefs and mission. If you want the details, you can find our full statement of beliefs at nazarene.org or by clicking here.
To put it briefly, we believe in a God who pursues, saves, transforms, and calls everyone, everywhere, and at all times to become part of God's great redemption project!
We believe God has given every one of his children gifts for ministry and service. Everyone. We want to help you find where you fit, whether that's in worship, hospitality, kids' ministry, or somewhere you haven't thought of yet.
When it comes to serving with children and youth, we take that seriously too — every volunteer goes through a real safety and screening process, because protecting the people we love is part of loving them well.
We are a church that desires to be a community where you can belong, believe, and become the person God has created you to be. We know that this sort of community comes into being only when everyone commits themselves to actively building the kind of community they hope to find.
We're not a church that expects you to have it figured out before you walk in. Come with questions. Come with doubts. Come in whatever you're wearing. And yes — bring a friend. Bring several.
The Christlike life cannot be lived alone. We need each other. We want you to know and experience two very important things -- you are love, and you are not alone!
Got more questions?
We'd genuinely rather talk to you than have you guess. Fill out a Communication Card and we'll get back to you.
